Welcome to the Old Abingdonian Club

The Old Abingdonian Club has existed, in one form or another, since 1743. The principal purpose of the Club is to maintain social contact amongst former members of Abingdon School.

Abingdon School - View from Park Road

Welcome to the OA Club website where you can find full details of all our forthcoming events, activities and projects.  We hope you will keep coming back to visit us!

The School has some important news which it would like to draw to the attention of all OAs.

On Thursday 18 June the Chairman of Governors, David Lillycrop, announced that Mark Turner will be leaving Abingdon at the end of the 2009/10 academic year, to take up the Headship of Shrewsbury.

Those OAs for whom we have an e-mail address will be receiving an e-mail from the OA Club Chairman over the course of the week.  In the mean time copies of the letters from David Lillycrop and the Headmaster are available to download from the website.  There is also a 'question and answer' sheet which provides further information about the announcement.

A great thank you to over 800 OAs who have now registered for access to the new members' area.  We hope that you are enjoying looking up old friends in the OA Directory.  If you haven't already done so, please do register for the new members' area - it is a great way to reconnect with old friends and keep in touch with the OA Club.

To access the members' area click on the link in the top menu bar and then fill out the registration form,  Once registered you will be able to update your entry in the OA Club database and to search for your friends online.
